Match report The ladies won the toss and decided to bat first.

Good opening partnership by Zainab and Tor led us to 35-0 after 7 overs.

Natasha Bourke came in and hit a big six straight down the ground and then decided she had done her bit and got out soon after! Excellent batting by Sadie who scored 21 off 21 balls and stabilised the middle part of the innings and well supported by Saba (27) and Kerianne who scored a well deserved 35 using Anjali's bat! This led to the ladies finishing on a good score of 155 after 27 overs on a very slow track.

Teas were had in the middle, closely followed by a heavy rain shower, which showed no signs of clearing but then an hour later, we were back on! It was wet, muddy and slippery but this didn't stop any of the ladies from diving to stop the ball or just diving for the fun of it!

Great bowling by the whole team and special mention to Ayesha Dar who got her first ladies wicket by bowling a nice straight one, which their batter completely missed! Also, Hannah Newman who bowled superbly and was on a hat trick and recorded her best bowling figures of 3-0-5-2!

Well done ladies on another good win, don't forget to wash those muddy whites for next week!
