County Players

Wanstead juniors have a long history of producing first class cricketers, with three ex-Wanstead juniors making their debut for Essex CCC in the last two years and a fourth regularly playing for Essex 2nd XI last season.

Robin Das

Robin started playing at Wanstead at an early age made a name for himself by hitting 200 not out for the U16s in a Match play quarter final. He made his debut for Wanstead first eleven in 2017 and hit his first 100 two years later. Robin has gone from strength to strength and has now played a number of games for Essex but topping that Robin was selected for 12th man duties for England at Lords last summer.

Naivedyam Dwivedi

Nav started playing at Wanstead as a 9 year old and made his debut for Wanstead first eleven in 2018 as a 15 year old. In July 2019, Nav took 5 wickets for 17 runs in 1st X1 premier league and in September 2020, Nav hit a match winning 54 not out in the final and title deciding game of the season against Brentwood. Last year, he established himself as a regular for Essex 2s and can’t wait for 2021 to start. Have a look at his coaching videos.
