Match report A Very good Victory this weekend for the 3rd XI. The day didn't start as planned, Wanstead 3rd X1 was in trouble with 5 wickets down for 60 runs until the Young guns in Feroze Khushi and Inqui Chowdhary taking the total to 245 for 6, It was an absolute pleasure watching these two youngsters bat with such maturity.
Shenfield went into bat after the interval and made steady progress until Inqui Chowdhary carried on where he left off with the bat to this time break into the opening pair with the bsll finishing with figures of 7.3-0-27-4
Mohammed Shahriyar also had a couple of spells finishing with figures of 7-2-18-4
Gerald Kitching also chipped in with figures of 4-0-14-1 and Alan Lord 6-0-21-1.
The team also performed really well on the field to restrict the opposition to 164 for 10.
