Match report It was a Nice sunny day at Clayhall park were wanstead had to take on Woodford wells. Wanstead had lost the toss and had been put to bat first with both openers getting out early it was down to Saad Ghafoor and Thomas west to put things right. As they put on a 40 run partnership and recovered wanstead from an early chrisis. A big well done to them as Thomas scored 24 retired and saad 16 retired and with wanstead gaining contributions from everybody they concluded with a score of 113 in their 24 overs. Well with a strong bowling line up from wanstead it never looked easy for Woodford and wells as early wickets from Max Hanley and George Bottomley set the tone. As Abdullah Muckthar managed to take 4 wickets in his 4 over spell. However the Woodford and wells boys did give a fight despite the great bowling from wanstead as it was 6 runs required from the last over. Despite that it never looked an easy job as Zain Piracha had been entrusted with the last over and with great line an length he managed to get a wicket and give only 2 runs. Wow what a nail biter congratulations to wanstead with all round performances from Saad, Abdullah, Thomas and Zain
