Tom and Ben Excel for the Three Ws
That's Wanstead and WoodfordWells.
On Friday 10 October, in the Under 11 Indoor League, Wanstead's Tom Bentley achieved the remarkable figures of five wickets for 9 runs, including four wickets in 4 balls.
Ben Munson, opening for the Wells,refused to lie down and responded with a magnificent batting display, scoring 92 not out in his team's 102.
Not to be out-done, Tom hit the winning runs with a six in the last over to see the Herons home.
Congratulations to both players for their splendid displays.
