Wanstead and Snaresbrook Cricket Club

Our Under 11's emerged victorious from their Hayden Davies Cup Final encounter against Woodford Wells at the Wells today (Sunday 11th September).   Batting first, our boys all chipped in to post a competitive score of 118 off their 20 overs.   In reply, the Wells boys batted very well but struggled to keep up with the required rate.  For a while it appeared that we would win comfortably but a late flurry of boundaries caused our supporters a few heart flutters but we eventually finished winners by 9 runs.

A terrific win against a very competitive, sporting team.
