Wanstead and Snaresbrook Cricket Club

Our Under 13s won through to the Final of the David Bradford Cup yesterday (Thursday) evening by beating a very talented and sporting Brentwood U13s in our semi-final tie at Nutter Lane.  Our visitors won the toss and elected to bat but were held to 104 for 2 wickets off of their 20 overs. With the exception of Inquiyad Chowdhury, who took 1 wicket for only 5 runs off his 4 overs, we did not bowl as well as we have throughout the previous rounds of the Competition.  However, our batsman did play up to their usual high standard and knocked off the required runs in 15 overs for the loss of just two wickets.  

The Final will be held next Monday (4th July) at Loughton Cricket Club starting at 6.00pm.   Lots of support for our boys will help them on their way to lifting the Cup and then into the National U13 Competition.
