Congratulations to the 1st XI, who on Sunday 6th Aug, won the Vitality National Club T20 Area Finals at Radlett CC.
In the semi final reduced to 12 overs a side, we restricted Radlett CC to 92-6 and then knocked off the runs in 9.2 overs for the loss of 3 wickets.
In the final we met our old rivals Swardeston CC from Norfolk. In a 15 overs game some superb bowling saw us bowl out Swardeston for 70 in 14.1 overs. We then scored 73-2 in just 8 overs.
As winners, we progress to the Regional Final which is taking place at Basingstoke & North Hants CC on Sunday 27th Aug.
